Terms of Service
1. What waves.ac is
waves.ac is a server-authoritative anti-cheat and moderation platform for Roblox experiences. It scores behavioral signals computed on game servers, surfaces suspected violations with evidence, and lets game staff review and enforce decisions through Roblox's official APIs.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your credentials safe (we strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication in Security). Accounts protect Roblox experiences you actually control: linking a Roblox account proves that ownership. One person may not use the service to moderate games they have no authority over.
3. Fair use of the platform
You agree not to: attempt to bypass rate limits or authentication; probe, scan, or attack the service; use the platform to harass players; resell access without an agreement; or attempt to extract other tenants' data. We may suspend accounts that do.
4. Enforcement in your game
waves.ac provides detection signals, confidence scores, and tooling. Your staff can ban, unban and review at any time, and every game starts in a non-enforcing mode you control. Once you enable enforcement, waves.ac may also act on its own findings, without a person approving each one: a single weak signal is never enough to ban anyone, and escalation requires corroboration across independent signals or across separate games. Every response below a network-wide ban - a kick, then a short local ban - is reversible by your own staff from your console. A network-wide ban is issued only on corroborated evidence, is not limited to your game, and is lifted by us rather than by you; players contest it with us directly. You remain responsible for how you moderate your community, including reviewing and reversing any action you disagree with.
5. Billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on the schedule you pick at checkout (monthly, bi-annual, or yearly). Entitlements apply for the paid period. If a payment fails and is not resolved, your account returns to the non-enforcing shadow tier; your data and configuration are retained.
6. Service and availability
We work to keep the service available and accurate, but detection is probabilistic and heuristics are labelled as such. The service is provided as-is to the maximum extent permitted by law; our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before a claim.
7. Termination
We may terminate accounts that breach these terms. On termination, tenant data is deleted according to the retention rules in the Privacy Policy.
8. Changes
If these terms change materially, the change is announced in your console before it takes effect. Continued use after that date is acceptance.
